Lesson 3.1 – Conduct A Policy Workshop

Conduct A Policy Workshop:

Don’t forget, when you have a draft EOP/ERP ready for public review, you are welcome to send a copy to civiclinQ for additional review and recommendations!  Sometimes it never hurts to have an extra set of eyes!

Action Items:

  1. Participate in the public meeting / public hearing discussions with your municipality’s designated body(ies).
  • If the legislative body does not recommend adoption of the plan during their initial meeting, incorporate their recommended changes into the draft plan, and schedule a follow-up adoption meeting/hearing.
  • If the legislative body does support the adoption of the plan, move to Lesson 4.1.
