§10-9a-103 and §17-27a-103 of Utah State Code (as amended) define improvement completion assurances as a surety bond, letter of credit, financial institution bond, cash, assignment of rights, lien, or other equivalent security required by a municipality or county to guarantee the proper completion of landscaping or an infrastructure improvement required as a condition precedent to recording a subdivision plat or development of a commercial, industrial, mixed-use, or multifamily project.

Special Note: The Office of the Property Rights Ombudsman has provided funding for this training program from the 1% surcharge on all building permits in the State of Utah.
